For the Ermenegildo Zegna Couture Made in Japan capsule collection, the Italian fashion house partnered with Japanese craftsmen to create a series of casual tailored apparel. Made entirely in the Land of the Rising Sun from Japanese fabrics, the collection comprises sporty trousers, coats, shirts, and shoes. Based on the idea of the broken suit (in which suit jackets and trousers only partially match) the laid-back denim and plaid items range from $795 to $1,950. The collection was launched in September at Zegna’s Tokyo store, and six of the items are now available at its Fifth Avenue boutique in New York.
